Android developer speaks at Phoenix Android

To wrap up 2008, Iliyan Malchev will be speaking at Phoenix Android tonight.

When: Thursday, December 11th, 2008, 6pm.

Pizza and drinks will be served. RSVP requested via the Google Group so the appropriate amount of food can be ordered.

Iliyan is a member of the Google Android team, and will be speaking at his experiences as a Linux kernel developer on Android. He has spent the last 3 years building various low-level Android components including the GPS, bluetooth, camera, and audio frameworks.

First Phoenix Android Developers Meeting

November 11th, 2008

Put the word out! The first Phoenix Android Developers meeting will be held this Thursday…

Pizza and drinks will be served. RSVP requested via the Google Group so the appropriate amount of food can be ordered. During this first meeting, both Remi Taylor and Marc Chung will walk through the development of a Hello World Android application.  Lots of things to share, but expect to learn about the development environment, bits and pieces of the API, and actually getting the app on to your phone, followed by general discussion of thoughts and experiences with the group!
